Christmas Break
15th November 2009
Christmas time again and we will be closing for business at 12.00pm on Thursday the 24th of December 2009 and reopening at 9.00am Monday the 18th of January 2010. So please get in early and check the cupboards to make sure you have enough toner to last through the Christmas period.
Business Investment Allowance – Time running out
15th October 2009
• Small businesses (turnover less than $2 million) must buy the asset between 13 December 2008 and 31 December 2009 and have it installed before 31 December 2010 to qualify for 50% tax break.
• Large businesses (turnover greater than $2 million) must buy the asset between 13 December 2008 and 30 June 2009 and have it installed before 30 June 2010 to qualify for 30% tax break.
• Large businesses (turnover greater than $2 million) must buy the asset between 13 December 2008 and 30 June 2009 and have it installed between 1 July 2010 and 31 December 2010 to qualify for 10% tax break.
• Large businesses (turnover greater than $2 million) must buy the asset between 1 July 2009 and 31 December 2009 and have it installed by 31 December 2010 to qualify for 10% tax break.

Australian Printer Services Launches Buyers Advantage Club

After a recent survey with customers, we found that 92.8% of our customers rated our service good to excellent. Over 90% rated timely response as our best attribute. We decided to celebrate these results with this new club and to reinforce our commitment to giving you the best service available in the market. If you purchase $1000 or more in printers, service or consumables in a 12 month period from APS, you are now automatically a member in our Buyers Advantage Club. Club members will be receiving further information shortly on a range of benefits including special access to manufacturer offers, member prize promotions and a whole lot more. Fuji Xerox Printers helps the bush fire effort.

Australian Printer Services Pty Ltd was asked to help at Wattle Glen Primary School after it merged with Strathewan Primary School. Strathewan Primary School was burnt to the ground and its students are now at Wattle Glen Primary School in previously unused portables that the community have cleaned and setup inside like their old school. Some of the kids have lost their parents and the community is doing a wonderful job in donating and helping this school.
When Australian Printer Services asked a few of the manufactures for a replacement colour printer as theirs was terminal, Fuji Xerox Printers responded with no hesitation to help the cause. Thanks to Fuji Xerox Printers.

New Services for the Environment

At Australian Printer Services Pty Ltd we are serious about looking after the environment and have started our programme to responsibly dispose of used printers and spare parts that customers do not wish to retain. We can now offer a programme that allows you to recycle your unwanted printers. An optional Certificate of Recycling can be provided with each batch completed. Each certificate serves as confirmation of recycling of each batch/load of e-waste.

Manufacturer price rise

All the major manufacturers have announced over the coming weeks there will be price rises of between 5 to 25%. We recommend stocking up on your printers and printer consumable needs now before the price rise and to ensure that you don't run out over the Christmas break.

Samsung has launched its newest initiative into the world of print and imaging products, the Elite Partner program. This program has been designed to give the partners greater support and access to the Samsung range, which allows Australian Printer Services Pty Ltd to pass this on by becoming a single port of call. This will include greater value for money on machines, more in depth range of mono, colour and copier products as well as our warranty service on sold products.
